However, when you are the world’s single biggest teen-pop sensation, 영동출장만남 that is apparently as over-eager and far-fetched a desire as Richard the Lionheart’s Third Crusade.
First, the megastar was thwarted in his attempts to “walk where Jesus walked” in Israel this week by aggressive paparazzi, according to his own Tweets.
“You would think paparazzi would have some respect in holy places. All I wanted was the chance to walk where jesus did here in isreal.” Bieber wrote. “They should be ashamed of themselves. Take pictures of me eating but not in a place of prayer, ridiculous. People wait their whole lives for opportunities like this, why would they want to take that experience away from someone.”
Then, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly snubbed the international icon because he allegedly refused to meet with the child victims of a recent rocket attack from Gaza, reports the Haaretz newspaper.
Netanyahu’s team allegedly tried to seize “the PR opportunity presented by the meeting with Bieber” by inviting a group of children who had “disembarked from a school bus just before it was hit by a Hamas rocket” last week, Haaretz reports.
The two world leaders (one of a country, the other of tween girls’ hearts everywhere) were supposed to meet the night before his Thursday concert in Tel Aviv. Apparently, that will not be happening now.
For its part, Beiber’s camp told the gossip website Gossip Cop that “the meeting [with Netanyahu] had never been finalized.”
Bieber has attempted to play it cool, but his frustration mounted, writing in a Tweet: “i want to see this country and all the places ive dreamed of and whether its the paps or being pulled into politics its been frustrating.”
As a result, he has now sworn to spend the remainder of his time in Israel holed up in his hotel.
Apparently, Bieber has found some solace in the family and friends he took with him on the trip, writing after the drama had unfolded: “im just excited at this pt to get on stage and perform. gonna take a little break from twitter and enjoy this time with my family until then.”
Finally, Bieber offered this little bit of Holy Land wisdom to his 8,787,531 Twitter followers before going silent for several hours: “patience is a virtue.”
